Very cheering news on a dismal rainy windy day here in Whitstable! I’m delighted to have been been invited to lead a painting and drawing course at The Watermill in Posara, Tuscany, in September 2016.

So far the plan is to spend mornings painting en plein air within the surrounding landscape, and then make use of the Watermill’s studio space to explore portraiture and still-life, working in oils and acrylics and dry drawing mediums.

Students and any non-painting accompanying friends will also have have plenty of time in between excursions and master class sessions to relax in the Watermill’s gardens and elegant buildings around the sunlit courtyard, and to explore riverside walks … not to mention leisurely breakfasts, picnics, and evening meals in the mill or nearby restaurants. It’s going to be an amazing week!

For those booking before 31 December 2015 there’s also an Early Bird discount of £75 per person, and reductions for non-particpatory friends coming along.
